Carolyn Marie Wright is “Mostly Wholesome. Always Wright.” Shakespearean roles include: Bianca, Hermia, Hermione, Hippolyta, Margaret, Lady Anne, Lady Capulet, Lady Percy, Player Queen, Titania and Caliban. Selected Credits: The Best of Second City, Kiddie Litter, Losing It, Wini+George with Katharine Ross; Series Regular in Moving On and C Wright Sketch; There Will Be Snacks at This is Not a Tan at Comedy Central Stage; the Little Sister and Ceiling Crawler in BioShock video game.
Training: The Second City, The Groundlings, Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum, Yale (BA), NYU (MA), UCLA (MFA).
Offstage, Carolyn is Manager of Education & Community Enagement at Geffen Playhouse, where she is also a Teaching Artist. Other teaching credits include: Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum, A Noise Within, The Second City, Young Storytellers Foundation and UCLA Acting and Performance Summer Institute. She is a Visiting Artist at Concordia University Irvine with Looseleaf Theatre Co.
